** The New York Times, Adobe and more – meet the latest confirmed #InAwe17 speakers
Editor Newsletter & Messaging
The New York Times
A nine-year Times veteran who most recently served as a digital editor for the paper’s metro desk, Elisabeth Goodridge is now overseeing the Times’ growing newsletter division. It sends out 50 editorial emails at least weekly, ranging from local news (California Today, NYT Australia) to service (Cooking, Smarter Living) to history (Vietnam ‘67, a look back at the Vietnam War through the prism of a single year). At InAwe, Goodridge will discuss the newsletter renaissance in publishing and the strategy that made the Times a leader in the field.
Director of Deliverability
As Director of Deliverability for Adobe, Alyssa Nahatis manages a team of experts focused on helping clients implement more innovative and effective email strategies to optimize inbox delivery. Alyssa is an industry veteran, working in the email marketing field since 2000, and will guide the InAwe audience through the often overlooked, challenging and crucial topic of getting your message where it belongs.
Director for Mobile and Emerging Platforms
Scripps Networks Interactive
Leading a team delivering popular lifestyle content on emerging platforms, Tim McElreath has spent the past year on just one topic: voice. Its exploding market is revolutionizing consumer interactions all around the world, and it might be the first time humans aren’t adapting to technology, but technology to humans. At InAwe’s first ever voice panel, McElreath will share his vision for voice at HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Cooking Channel, and Travel Channel, to just name a few of Scripps’ brands, collectively engaging more than 190 million consumers each month.
Chief Digital Officer
The White House / RNC
Presidential campaigns have become behemoths of digital messaging, targeting and segmentation – and Inbox Awesome is taking place exactly one year after the election. Reasons enough to bring politics on stage for the first time and discuss across the aisle. Gerrit Lansing, former Chief Digital Officer of the White House and digital strategist behind the Trump presidential campaign will join to show how targeting and list building helped to win the elections. He was most recently Chief Digital Officer at the Republican National Committee. Lansing will be joined by Zack Christenson, the co-founder and CEO of Crowdskout, a CRM and data analysis platform for driving civic engagement that was used by various presidential campaigns during the 2016 race. Watch out for more speakers to join!
