By amol on July 23, 2018

An 85-year-old woman was robbed in a subway station in Long Island City, police said.

The woman was near the turnstiles of the 46 Street/Bliss Street station on July 13 when a man started talking to her, the NYPD said.

The man took the woman’s wallet out of her purse and fled, police said. The wallet had $130 cash and a debit card.

The man was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and yellow boots, police said.

Anyone with information in regards is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
