CATCH THE BUZZ . It’s a honey-filled weekend oozing with fun, information about bees and, well, honey at Wave Hall’s Annual Honey Weekend. Get the whole family in on the events, which include a family art project on dressing like a bee, and a honey tasting. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free. BOOKWORMS, UNITE! Bring the kids down for an afternoon of reading, for a good cause, during the Brooke Jackman Foundation’s 11th annual read-a-thon. The nonprofit foundation promotes literacy and was created in memory Brooke Jackman, a 9/11 victim. The guest reader is Rosie Perez. Noon-1:30 p.m. Free. LET’S HAVE A PARADE . It may be after Labor Day, but New Yorkers can still celebrate the end of summer with the annual Labor Day Parade. This year will be the parade’s 130th. 10 a.m. start. Free. The route goes from Fifth Ave. and 44th St. to 72nd St. (212) 604-9552.

ART ON THE BEACH . Brighton Beach will have a display of the neighborhood’s contributions to the arts with an evening of open galleries.
