Man Stole Pocketbook from Queens Design Store, Police Said

LONG ISLAND CITY — A man walked into a design store in Long Island City and swiped a pocketbook with credit cards and cash, cops said.

According to police, the theft happened Sunday, May 13 around 4 p.m.  The suspect walked into F.L. Young LLC design store, at 39-24 24 St., grabbed the pocketbook and fled in an unknown direction, cops said.

The theft was captured on surveillance camera.

No one was injured as a result of the theft, which was captured on surveillance footage, police said.

Cops described the suspect as a 20-30 year old man, wearing a red t-shirt and brown pants.
