LONG ISLAND CITY — Police are looking for a pair of men who blasted two people with pepper spray at the Queensboro Plaza subway station, according to the NYPD.
The suspects approached the man and woman, both 20, aboard a Manhattan-bound N train shortly before 5 p.m. on July 9 when one announced that he was going to “beat up” the male victim, police said.
The suspects then followed the victims as they exited the train at the Queensboro Plaza station, where they sprayed them with pepper spray before fleeing, according to police.
Both victims suffered minor injuries to their face and arms but refused medical attention, police said.
The suspects were later spotted shirtless at a Dunkin’ Donuts on First Avenue and East 60th Street in Manhattan, according to police.
Both men are believed to be between 16 and 18 years old. One is 5-foot-8, 170 pounds with a ponytail, while the other is 5-foot-7 and 150 pounds with short dark hair, police said.
