Three bandits are wanted for holding up two people at gunpoint in Long Island City

Police are looking for three suspects who recently robbed a man and woman at gunpoint as they walked down a Long Island City street.

On July 22 at approximately 3:10 p.m., a 20-year-old woman and 28-year-old man were walking past a location on 33rd Street just south of 36th Avenue when three men approached them. One of the men displayed a black and gray firearm and demanded that they give them their belongings.

The suspects then fled on 33rd Street in a dark car. There were no reported injuries.

Police described the suspects as black males who are approximately 20 years old.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS or for Spanish 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
