Developer’s Plan to Transform Long Island City Lot Draws Neighbors’ Ire

A piece of land wedged between Hunter and Crescent streets in Long Island City has long been used for neighbors to play and relax. But last week, a developer filed plans to turn the lot into an 18-story mixed-use building, sparking renewed conversation over how the neighborhood should be developed and planned. News 4’s Erica Byfield reports.
