Tallest condo in Long Island City has units starting at $495000

By amol on September 28, 2016

The development branch of Silvercup Studios has officially started selling the 120 units in the tallest condominium in Long Island City.

Located at 27-21 44th Dr., the 27-story property will be completed in May 2017. Dubbed The Harrison, the condo will feature a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units that will range in price from $495,000 to $2,500,000.

Harry Suna, the owner of Silvercup Studios, converted a former bakery into Silvercup Studios in 1981. Today, the studios are run by Harry and his sons Alan and Stuart, who also run Silvercup Properties with principal Mark Gold.

“The Harrison offers the best of Court Square, Long Island City’s most vibrant area,” Alan Suna said. “The Harrison’s design features a warm, articulated masonry façade that distinguishes it from nearby glass towers. The classically styled building thoughtfully mixes a traditional exterior with modern interiors and finishes, which create a welcoming, high-end home environment.”

The condominiums feature stainless steel appliances, Technistone countertops and Shaker-style cabinetry.

South-facing residences on floors four and above offer views of the Manhattan skyline and units on floors 16 through 25 feature balconies. Additionally, certain units on floors 15 and 26 feature large terraces and two second-floor units provide access to large private backyards.

Amenities include a 24-hour attended lobby, a fitness center, a children’s playroom and an indoor and outdoor rooftop lounge. Residents can also purchase gated parking and storage units.
