Join city, state and local elected and government officials, along with business and civic leaders to discuss the changing landscape of Long Island City.
For the third year in a row, hundreds of professionals are gathering together in Long Island City for the LIC Summit: Ideas and Impacts, presented by LIC Partnership. This year the event will be co-hosted by Modern Spaces and Queens Courier.
The summit will be taking place on Tuesday, June 21 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Museum of the Moving Image (36-01 35th Ave, LIC).
Panels will discuss recent developments in LIC, including how LIC is evolving as a fashion district, the changing workforce and the recent changes in the transit system. The event will also include a networking breakfast and lunch.
This year’s keynote speakers are Maria Torres-Springer of New York City Economic Development Corporation; Carl Weisbrod of NYC Department of City Planning City Planning Commission; Kathryn Wylde of Partnership for New York City and Howard Zemsky of Empire State Development NY State Department of Economic Development.
