By amol on March 21, 2016

Police are still searching for three male suspects who walked into a 7-11 store in Long Island City last Monday and robbed a 24-year-old male employee at gunpoint.

Police said the first male suspect entered the store on 50-92 Northern Blvd. wearing a red sweatshirt. After the suspect made a purchase, he walked outside to speak with two other males wearing black hooded sweatshirts.

Two men then entered the store with guns. One of the men jumped over the counter and told the employee to open the register, police said.

The men left the 7-11 store with an undetermined amount of cash. The incident occurred within the confines of the 114th Precinct.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
