In March of 2015, we told you about demolition beginning on the former Eagle Electric warehouse at 43-22 Queens Street in Long Island City. Now, thanks to a photo on The Court Square Blog, we can see that excavation has begun for Rockrose’s planned 54-story tower. The 622,360-square-foot building will rise 580 feet and contain a whopping 783 residential units. Completion is slated for fall 2017.
