New Details, Rendering for Boxy Long Island City Condos

By amol on April 11, 2015

unnamed.jpgTwo years ago, Kora Developers bought an auto body shop at 47-28 11th Street in Long Island City, announcing plans to build a 7-story residential building, imaginatively dubbed The Corner. Now, with the building nearing completion, new details about the boxy condos have been released.

Designed by Brooklyn-based architecture firm Zproekt, The Corner will offer 23 one- to two-bedroom apartments, several with private outdoor space. According to a press release, each unit will have oak flooring, and the kitchens will have Bosch appliances and Caesarstone countertops. The bathrooms will have Kohler tubs and Grohe fixtures. As for amenities, the building will have a fitness center, a sundeck, a lounge, private storage, and a virtual doorman system.

The Corner is set to hit the market in May, with Modern Spaces handling sales.
