New York Lions Group planning two LIC towers
Complementary projects will flank Jackson Avenue on both sides

New York Lions Group’s Albert Shirian is planning to erect two residential towers on each side of the Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, adding to the slew of high-rise projects in the works in the Queens Plaza and Court Square neighborhood.
It is unclear whether the buildings, dubbed Jackson East and Jackson West, will hold condominium or rental units. Few details are available, but it appears that the east tower at 26-32 Jackson Avenue will rise nearly 40 stories, and the west tower at 27-01 Jackson Avenue will be about 30, 6sqft reported. The buildings will replace a gas station and an auto repair shop.
Both towers will be designed by Raymond Chan architects and feature floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies on many of the upper-floor units. The renderings also show that there will be ground-floor retail.
