Ekstein Development’s 86-unit residential project in Long Island City is on the move, now that permits have come in.

The nine-story project at 25-19 43rd Avenue in Long Island City will rise 99 feet and measure about 68,145 square feet. The residences will be condominiums. On-site amenities are to include parking for 17 cars, bicycle storage and a resident lounge.

The development is to rise on four combined lots, which Ekstein acquired for $13.34 million in December, according to public records. The new structure will take the place of a commercial building at 25-19 43rd Avenue, a two-family building at 42-68 27th Street, a three-family building at 25-09 43rd Street and a one-family property at 25-07 43rd Avenue.
