Long Island City springs into fun

By amol on May 21, 2014

Vernon Boulevard, a busy commercial corridor in Long Island City, was closed off to cars and opened for fun for the neighborhood’s first block party, LIC Springs! on Saturday.

The event, sponsored by the LIC Partnership, featured face painting, games, music and performances by local businesses owners and artists. The celebration coincided with the LIC Arts Open.
