QUEENS — A yellow cab driver died Wednesday morning after suffering an incapacitating medical emergency on a Queensboro Bridge off-ramp and hitting another cabbie, a police spokesman said.

Vadro Kone, 50, who had a passenger in his back seat, was pulling into Queens off a ramp from the bridge’s upper level when swerved into a wall, sending him into the other car about 12:20 a.m., the NYPD said.

Kone was taken to Mount Sinai Queens and pronounced dead, police said.

He had been incapacitated by a health condition that caused him to lose control, the NYPD said. A police spokesman would not elaborate on the medical emergency.

It was not immediately clear if he died from the health condition or the crash. The city’s medical examiner’s office would conduct an autopsy, police said.

Kone’s passenger, a 55-year-old woman, and the other driver were evaluated at Elmhurst Hospital, police said.

The Taxi and Limousine Commission did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
