LONG ISLAND CITY — A woman’s body was pulled out of the East River near Long Island City Saturday morning, and police were investigating the circumstances of her death.

The body of Judy Soo Hoo, 51, of Astoria, was recovered from the water off 47th Road and Center Boulevard, near Gantry Park, just before 10:15 a.m., police said.

The woman was wearing a blue jacket and grey pants, and did not appear to have signs of trauma, police said.

Police said the medical examiner would determine the cause of death.
