Attorney General Comes To Long Island City Mon.

Schneiderman Holds Forum On Issues

Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman and senior officials from his office will hold a community forum in Long Island City this Monday night, Dec. 2.

As announced, the forum will take place beginning at 6 p.m. in the Little Theater at LaGuardia Community College, located at 31-10 Thomson Ave.

The forum is open to the public and will address issues of significance to the community, in areas such as environmental protection, labor rights, civil rights, health care and consumer fraud and protection.

This event is co-sponsored by Queens Borough President Helen Marshall; Representatives Joseph Crowley and Carolyn Maloney; State Senators Joseph Addabbo, Michael Gianaris, Jose Peralta and Toby Ann Stavisky; Assembly Members Jeffrion Aubry, Michael DenDekker, Margaret Markey, Francisco Moya, Catherine Nolan and Aravella Simotas; and City Council Members Elizabeth Crowley, Daniel Dromm, Julissa Ferreras, Peter Vallone Jr. and Jimmy Van Bramer.
