Adding to the longest winning streak in PSAL Cup this week, Washington beat Long Island City 26-6. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Trojans.
Washington scaled the state rankings by moving to 506 from 551 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Trojans climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Bulldogs 26-6.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Washington takes on CPH/East Harlem. The Trojans are in third place, while the Falcons are in second place.
Washington made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,544 from 13,176. The advance stemmed from a 26-6 victory over Long Island City last week.
