Search continues for missing autistic teen Avonte Oquendo

By amol on November 1, 2013

NEW YORK (WABC) —
Four weeks ago, Avonte Oquendo vanished after leaving his school in Queens.

There is still no sign of the missing teen.

But the search continues in Long Island City Friday night.

Avonte is 14-years-old and autistic. He was last seen leaving school October 4.

Since the search began, police say they’re received nearly 600 tips from the public, and scoured 460 videos for clues.

The reward for information leading to his safe return is up to $95,000.
