By amol on April 17, 2013

LONG BEACH (WABC) —
It’s sentencing day Wednesday for a former Long Island politician convicted of larceny charges.

Former Long Beach City Councilman Michael Fagen faces up to four years in prison.

Fagen was convicted in February of stealing more than $7,000 in unemployment benefits.

At the time he was collecting unemployment, Fagen was paid more than $19,000 for his work as a councilman.
