LONG ISLAND CITY — A new Sweetleaf location opening Monday in Long Island City will serve cocktails from local bar Dutch Kills, including a new coffee coacktail drink named after the neighborhood itself, according to reports.

The new Sweetleaf, located on the ground floor of the TF Cornerstone Building at 46-15 Center Blvd., is currently serving coffee and pastries until 2 p.m., but will have its grand opening on Monday, according to a Sweetleaf employee.

Sweetleaf owners Rich Nieto and Al Arundel, whose original location is coming up on its five year anniversary, joined with Richard Boccato of Dutch Kills, at 27-24 Jackson Ave., to form the new bar, which will serve coffee by day and spirits by night, according to the New York Times.

“Everyone’s primary and ancillary vices shall be satisfied,” Boccato told the paper.

The new bar received its liquor license on Thursday night, according to a post on Twitter, and the Times reports that drinks will include cocktails, sipping spirits, wine and beer.

Coffee cocktails include the Long Island City Special — a play on the Manhattan Special — made of blackstrap rum, house coffee liqueur, seltzer, fresh lemon juice and agave syrup; and the Revolver, a mixture of bourbon, house coffee liqueur, and orange bitters, according to the Times.

Sweetleaf’s first location, at 10-93 Jackson Ave., opened in March 2008. A second location opened in May at Kent Avenue and North 6th Street in Williamsburg.
