Sales at Long Island City’s L Haus condominium got off to a slow start, despite the many attempts to lure buyers with rent-to-own deals, free rooftop cabanas, and free closets, among other things. But last January, after four years of sales, the project rebooted, got itself a new broker, and stepped up its game. The result? The condo building went from 60 percent to 100 percent sold in just 12 months. Modern Spaces sent a press release announcing the sell out, and the firm also noted that they were able to increase the price-per-square foot by 30 percent. Not too shabby!
The Cetra-Ruddy designed L Haus is a mix of 123 one-, two- and three-bedroom homes ranging in size from 675 to 1,800 square feet. There are several penthouses and duplexes, and all homes feature large triple-pane windows, gourmet kitchens, high ceilings, and white oak floors. Building amenities include a 10,000-square-foot landscaped yard, a “club room,” fitness center, media room, yoga room, two terraces, a pet spa, and bike storage.
