A crane has collapsed in Long Island City, Queens, this Wednesday afternoon, possibly trapping members of the construction crew, according to the FDNY.

While there are some injuries, no deaths have been reported. Traffic in the area is also currently backed up due to the incident.

The fire department received a call at around 2:30 p.m. that a crane fell at 46th Ave. and Center Blvd. at a construction site in Long Island City.

Investigators are still uncertain what caused the collapse, which is located directly behind the neon Pepsi Cola sign on the East River.
