Steve Madden Announces Participation in Upcoming Conferences

B. Riley 13th Annual Investor Conference

Citi Global Consumer Conference 2012

LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y.–(EON: Enhanced Online News)–Steve Madden (Nasdaq: SHOO) today announced that the Company will
present at the 13th Annual B. Riley Co. Investor Conference
held at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel in Santa Monica, CA and the
Citi 2012 Global Consumer Conference held at The New York Palace in New
York, NY.

The 13th Annual B. Riley Co. Investor Conference
presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 5:00 pm Eastern
Standard Time. The Citi 2012 Global Consumer Conference presentation is
scheduled for Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 8:15 am Eastern Standard Time.
Edward Rosenfeld, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer will host the
presentations.

The audio portion of the presentations will be webcast live over the
internet and can be accessed by logging onto http://www.stevemadden.com/
under the Investor Relations section. An online archive will be
available for a period of 90 days following the presentations.
