Albin F. Anderson of Fort Montgomery, NY and Palm Beach, FL, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012 at V.A. Hudson Valley Hospital, Castle Point, NY at the age of 84. Son of the late Albin M. and Margaret Murray Anderson, he was born in Long Island City, NY on September 28, 1927. Albin was the widower of Geraldine E. Ward Anderson.

Albin was an Interior Designer with Anderson Design of Larchmont, NY. He was a member of West Point Rotary Club, former president of Larchmont Chamber of Commerce, former member and president of Larchmont Lions Club, member of the Old Guard Society, Palm Beach, FL, member of the Governor’s Club, Palm Beach, FL and a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II.

Survivors include his sons: Albin C. Anderson of Palm Beach, FL, Paul W. Anderson of Boonton Township, NJ, Michael C. Anderson of Cambridge, England; his daughter, Palen Anderson of West Palm Beach, FL and his four grandchildren: Stephanie Anderson, Kimberly Anderson, Brian Anderson, and Morgan Schuyler Pandula.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3 at William F. Hogan Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Highland Falls, NY. A 10 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Chapel, 794 Route 9W, Fort Montgomery, NY. Interment will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery, Cold Spring, NY.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
