The New York City School Construction Authority has acquired 45-46 42nd St., a 0.34-acre vacant land parcel in Long Island City, NY for $5.7 million.

The property was purchased in an all-cash transaction from Norcor Management. A new school will be built on the site, with plans for completion in 2014.

Debra Wollens of Cassidy Turley represented the buyer. The seller did not use broker representation in the sale.
