NEW YORK, April 19, 2012 — /PRNewswire/ — JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU) is teaming up with long-time partner Carbonfund.org Foundation to plant one tree for every customer travelling on the airline on Earth Day, Sunday, April 22, 2012. More than 83,000 customers are expected to take to the skies across JetBlue’s 70 city-network on Sunday, and the new trees will be planted in locations in North and Northwest Haiti through August 2012. The trees will help to rebuild areas impacted by the devastating 2010 earthquake including the municipalities of Arcahaie, Cabaret, and Montrouis.
