Music this weekend -- Brandon's listening notes
This week in LIC features a top-notch lineup anchored by one of my favorite songwriters anywhere, Fred Thomas, who is probably best known for his work with pop outfit Saturday Looks Good to Me. A longtime Michiganian and sometime Oregonian, he's recently relocated to Greenpoint, and this will be his first show in Long Island City.
Fred's songs will remind you you're still human; we all need that sometimes. Also aboard is a rare NYC set by sibling duo the Wallace Bros., this time featuring a full band, as well as Lariats, a new side project by Song Corporation members.
