LIC is very well connected, but every 25 years a transit strike slows us down.

Here are the backup options:
* Walk across the Queensboro Bridge - brrr!
* Water Taxi - pretty frequent
* LIRR - not really, you have to ride it back out to Woodside then back in
* Pick up a carpool near the Hunterspoint 7 stop where cars are lining up to make it through the Midtown tunnel or near the Queensboro bridge entry
